Summer Equestrian Leadership Camp
Our very popular horse camp program, Summer Equestrian Leadership Camp, is in its 10th successful season and draws new and experienced
riders from throughout the region as well as from other states and countries to our equestrian center in the Clem community of Carrollton.
Our farm is home to a welcoming group of horses and ponies who facilitate riding instruction and lessons in horse care and barn management,
as well as a day of games on horseback including broomstick polo and mounted basketball, all under the care of experienced equestrian camp leaders
and licensed teachers. Groups enjoy field trips and visits from horse industry leaders including the vet, the equine dentist, and the farrier.
The highlight is an opportunity to compete in an off-site horse show after training all week at the farm's outstanding facilities,
which include a sand hunter/jumper ring, a lighted dressage arena, and cross country trails. The main residence at the farm provides a
respite from a full morning of summer riding lessons with a large pool and recreation area, an equestrian library, and a movie theater for
viewing horse themed movies as well as training tapes and rider photographs from the week.
